What to Pack

Pagosa Springs in November typically has daytime highs between 45–55 °F and overnight lows dropping to 20–30 °F, with crisp, dry mountain air and around 70% sunshine.

We recommend packing:

  • Layers: long-sleeve shirts, sweaters, and a warm jacket—perfect for chilly mornings and evenings.

  • Jewelry: any metal that is not solid gold may tarnish in the hot springs due to the natural sulfur content in the water. We recommend planning to remove any jewelry before enjoying the springs.

  • Ceremony outfit + outerwear: cocktail attire with a coat or wrap for the outdoor setting.

  • Footwear: comfortable shoes, if you plan on going to Great Sand Dunes National Park be sure they are suitable for walking on natural terrain. You may want to bring a pair to change into after the national park incase you get sand in your shoes.

  • Hot springs gear: swimsuit, flip‑flops, towel, and a cozy robe/sweater for after soaking. Please note that the hot spring is a natural water source which will leave mineral residue on your clothes, so darker colors for swimwear is recommended.

  • Sun protection: sunscreen, sunglasses, and maybe a hat—sun can still be strong at altitude.
